/JOIN

Usage:

/join <channel> [key]

Example:

/join #channel

/join #private SomePassWrd

The Join command is used to enter a channel or create a new channel. To join an existing channel, simply use the Join command with the channel name. In order to create a new channel you must use the Join command with a channel name that is not already in use.

The [Key] parameter is used for channels which have been marked as password-protected using the +k channel mode. You may only join a +k channel if you supply the correct password. If you do not, you will receive an error message.
