Editing the Server List

The server list options allow you to add/edit/remove IRC servers and networks. The server list editor is found in Client Options in the IRC section.

To add a new IRC network to the list, click the Add button below the Network List. A dialog opens in which you can add the network name and the list of servers on the network.

To add a new server to an existing network, select the network from the network list, then click the Add button below the server list. A dialog will open allowing you to add a new server.

To edit or delete a network or server, simply press the appropriate button and the rest should be pretty straightforward.

You can also import a server list by clicking the Import button. Vortec IRC can parse Pirch and mIRC servers.ini files. Imported entries are merged with Vortec's existing servers.ini file.

The Default Server section allows you to set the default server properties for your profile. You may also check the "Set last server as default" box if you want Vortec to remember which server you were on last.
