Usage:

/ctcp <nick> <request>

Example:

/ctcp Jellowe version

Description:

Use the /CTCP command to request information from another user's IRC client, for example VERSION, CLIENTINFO, PING, USERINFO, and FINGER. Users may also set up their own custom CTCP info for such things as XDCC lists.

This version of Vortec IRC also supports "nudges", which is similar to the MSN/Live messenger Nudge feature. When enabled, this will allow a user to nudge you which causes your private message window to "shake" along with a system beep.
